DAS EDITH 2023 

Studierende der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien des Fachbereiches Grafik und Druckgrafik realisieren seit 2017 zum 6. Mal „DAS EDITH“ – ein Projekt für zeitgenössische Druckgrafik unter der Leitung von Professor Christian Schwarzwald. 34 Studierende nehmen an der diesjährigen Edition teil. An 3 Terminen, am 9. und 30. November 2022 sowie am 11. Jänner 2023 werden je 11 neue Drucke im Rahmen einer Ausstellung an der Akademie der bildenden Künste am Schillerplatz 3 in Wien gezeigt und können vor Ort erworben werden. Gleichzeitig werden die Grafiken auf der Projektwebsite dasedith.at im Online-Shop erhältlich sein. Im Rahmen des Rundgangs der Akademie der bildenden Künste vom 19. – 22. Jänner 2023 werden alle Drucke abschließend präsentiert und sowohl einzeln als auch in einer auf 10 Stück limitierten Sammelmappe erhältlich sein. Reservierungen für diese nehmen wir über den gesamten Projektzeitraum gerne entgegen. 

Gedruckt wird auf 42 x 30 cm großem Papier, jeweils in einer Auflage von 20 Stück. Die Drucktechniken reichen von Hoch-, Tief-, Flach-, Digital- und Siebdruck bis Lithografie und Photographie.
Der Erlös geht nach Deckung der Produktionskosten an die jeweiligen Künstler*innen.

Students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna of the Department of Graphic Arts and Printmaking realize since 2017 for the 6th time "DAS EDITH" - a project for contemporary printmaking under the direction of Professor Christian Schwarzwald. 34 students are participating in this year's edition. On 3 dates, on November 9 and 30, 2022, as well as on January 11, 2023, 11 new prints each will be shown as part of an exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts at Schillerplatz 3 in Vienna and can be purchased on site. At the same time, the prints will be available in the online store on the project website dasedith.at. As part of the tour of the Academy of Fine Arts from January 19 - 22, 2023, all prints will be presented conclusively and will be available both individually and in a collection folder limited to 10 pieces. We will gladly accept reservations for these throughout the entire project period.  Prints will be made on 42 x 30 cm paper, each in an edition of 20. Printing techniques range from letterpress, gravure, flat, digital and screen printing to lithography and photography.
After covering the production costs, the proceeds go to the respective artists.

DASEDITH is a project of the Department of Graphic Arts and Printmaking Techniques under the direction of Prof. Christian Schwarzwald and the collaboration of Theresa Eipeldauer and Philip Patkowitsch with the support of the graphic workshop directors Kirsten Borchert, Magdalena Kreinecker, Renata-Brigitte Darabant and Nobuhiko Numazaki.
